Catalog Covers

These are the catalog covers I created for my company's trade show this year.

Better Homes and Gardens

Some of my designs were featured in the current holiday issue of Better Homes and Gardens!

9 Sides of Donald

Some Illustrator freelance of Donald dressed as various DIsney characters!

SC for FD

I painted this vintage USC piece for my Dad and Grandpa for Father's Day.

New Stuff...

Vintage

This is a swatch from a larger painting I'm working on for a project at work. It's been so much fun- can't wait to finish it up!

Christmas Card

Mrs. Minnie

My friend Danielle is getting married this month- she loves DIsney more than anyone I know so I thought this would be a cute wedding present.

New Logo

I've been doing a lot more graphic art & illustration lately- (especially at my new job! :) so I've been working on a new business card logo that has more of a design feel to it.

NikBob

Happy birthday to our good friend NikBob.

LAD

I painted this as a birthday gift for my Uncle. He's been a sports writer & editor for as long as I can remember- and our family bleeds Dodger blue!

Happy Holidays!

Do you ever get that feeling...

This is a new image for the children's book I'm working on. It should also clear up any questions about how the mice eat.

Mouse Sketch

This is a mouse character I've been sketching out for a new children's book I'm working on. Still looking for a good name.

A Little Barb for Barb

Creative Thanksgiving Contest

The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators are holding a contest about a brother and sister having a creative and unexpected Thanksgiving, so I went with Thanksgiving at the Circus.

Happy Halloween!

Playing Dress-Up

I recently got picked up by an Artist Representative on the East Coast, and it was suggested that I revisit this piece about a little boy playing dress up. The original was one of my first digital paintings, and I'm happy I upgraded.

Mountain Hiking

So I've gotten a lot of flak from my friends and family for not posting in awhile, but what can I say- I've been very, very busy having a wonderful summer. This is an image from one of the fun trips I took this summer. I sketched it with ink during a hike in the mountains, then brought it home for more detail and color in Painter.

Landscape Demos in Painter

Back Cover of The New Avengers Comic

Anti-Valentine Entry

The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators held a contest to create an anti-valentine illustration. I thought the idea of a little girl frustrated with the results of her "He loves me... he loves me not" petal-plucking was an endearing way to illustrate the concept.

Fishing with Dad

My family celebrated my father's birthday this week. I wanted to make a piece for him that would be special and sentamental to the good times we had fishing when I was a kid.

Nice Surprise

I was surprised to find an ad for the show I've been digitally inking characters for on the back cover of a comic book I saw today. I was very excited to see my work being used.

Back by Popular Demand

This is an image from the book I illustrated There was an Old Woman who Swallowed a Fly. My friends and family have a great affection for this cow- despite it's implied fate.

Driving Home

I saw this on the way home and had to stop and take a picture. I know the sun creates a harsh focal point but I'm still attracted to it's effect on the shot.

Mountain Light

Went up to the mountains for a couple days and thought this shot in the snow was interesting... so here it is.

Perry

This is one of the characters I've been working on for the Disney Channel's show Phineas and Ferb which premieres in February.

Stroll Along the Beach
