Kicking Off 2017 With Some Exciting Sizzix News!

Hi Guys!

I am so excited to share with you some of our best selling craft kits that I will be showcasing on HSN this coming Monday, February 6th, 2017! These kits encompass some of the big trends in making this year, and I wanted to take the time to share them with you.

Some of the hottest techniques in making don’t rely on die-cutting alone. Adding texture and dimension to your makes and projects using embossing folders adds a uniquely bold element to your crafts, transforming ordinary cardstock or materials into one-of-a-kind embossed creations. Add in the Texture Boutique, Sizzix’s cute embellishment machine, and you’ll be embossing in no time!

As much as technology has simplified our lives, there’s a movement to get away from “all things” digital and a gravitation towards day planners, allowing people the ability to personalize, customize, and celebrate their daily life and daily to do’s. More and more people are finding inspiration and empowerment by having a thoughtful touch on their day-to-day life. For myself, planners are such a HUGE part of my life, for personal use, for office use, and, of course, to personalize, embellish, decorate and make my own. Plan to make the most epic planner with Sizzix’s Planner Collection this year!

Two of the hottest trends for makers this year are Natural Elements and Interactive Dimensional Crafting. Natural Elements bring makes and projects back to having a much more hand-touched look and feel to it, rather than a perfectly created craft. Interactive Dimensional Crafting are makes that can be picked up, moved, or touched- inviting interaction. With my Fox Tales collection, these two trends collide into a medley of woodland creatures and interactive card making. My Fox Fold-a-Long Card and Owl Fold-a-Long Card bring to life both trends, with adorable creatures from nature in cards that have interactive card bases and pop out label shapes for you to personalize any way you’d like!

Adding hand-touch elements to makes and crafts has quickly become a growing trend, giving projects a feeling of enhanced sincerity or thoughtfulness. The easiest way to add this hand-touch element is by using stamps. But when is a stamp more than just an ordinary stamp? When they are clear and interchangeable stamps and the Stamper’s Secret Weapon! Clear Stamps are first and foremost, clear; allowing for see-through positioning to see where you’re stamping. Featuring beautiful hand-drawn designs, both Sizzix’s Clear Stamps and Interchangeable Stamps make adding that hand-touch element to your projects both easy and fun! These stamp collection offer sentiments and designs that can easily be swapped out for another variety of designs and sentiments all in one collection. The coolest part about these stamps is that they automatically register the decorative base stamp with the sentiment phrase or design- no more guess work on getting your stamps centered with each other. As a someone who adds a stamp or two into my personal cards and makes, I know the struggle stampers often run into getting that perfect, clean stamp every single time. For that, Sizzix has the Stamper’s Secret Weapon. This double-sided mat has one side for stamping, ensuring you get the cleanest stamp impression possible with every use. The other side is specifically created for piercing projects or quickly setting a brad. With stamps and stamp accessories like this, stamping has become its own art form. But stamps need inkpads, after all, a stamp without ink is like a die without a die-cutting machine. Sizzix has inkpads in Black, Lilac and Aqua! These inkpads provide lasting stamp results with every use, and what better way to add that hand-touch element than with beautiful, vibrant colors.

Be sure to tune in on HSN this coming Monday, February 6th at 11am PST/ 2pm EST and again at 12pm PST/ 3pm EST!
